South Hills Catholic Academy Saints Classic Golf Outing

South Hills Catholic Academy Saints Classic Golf Outing

Please Join Us for the Annual Saints Classic Golf Outing at the Pittsburgh Field Club Hosted by South Hills Catholic Academy!

The Pittsburgh Field Club is a distinguished country club located in the suburb of Fox Chapel, northeast of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Established in 1882, the club's golf course began construction in August 1914 under the expert supervision of Alexander H. Findlay, renowned as the "Father of American Golf." The course officially opened for play on June 1, 1915.

The club has a rich history of hosting prestigious events; it was the venue for the PGA Championship in May 1937 and served as a qualifying site for the U.S. Open in 1953 at Oakmont Country Club. Over the years, the Pittsburgh Field Club has also hosted qualifying rounds for the U.S. Amateur and numerous events organized by the Pennsylvania Golf Association and the Western Pennsylvania Golf Association, thereby reinforcing its commitment to upholding a tradition of championship golf.
