Greg Weimer has been in the wealth management industry since 1986. His substantial breadth of financial knowledge led to his decision to co-found Confluence Financial Partners.
Greg’s career began when he joined Butcher & Singer as a financial advisor. He moved to CNL Securities Corporation in 1989 and to American Funds in 1993, where he became a senior vice president and served on the board of directors. Greg earned American Funds’ Daniel C. Brown award for creativity and was a two-time winner of its Graham Holloway award, given to employees who exemplify the company’s core values. He earned his business degree at the University of Pittsburgh, with concentrations in computer science and math. Additionally, Greg also holds Series 7, 24, 26, 63, and 65 professional licenses.
Greg is passionate about giving back to his community. He currently serves on the Board of Trustees of the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh Foundation as well as being a member of the Finance and Investment Committee. Greg has also served as Vice-Chairman of the Washington City Mission, chairing the committee that built The Patriot House, a 22-bed shelter for homeless veterans.
He and his wife Lori live in the South Hills of Pittsburgh. They enjoy spending time with their four children and three grandchildren. Their family is active members of St. Louise de Marillac Church.
